Reuss Younger Line

The Reuss Younger Line was a principality that existed from 1806 to 1918, formed by the unification of the territories of Reuß-Schleiz, Reuß-Lobenstein, and Reuß-Ebersdorf. Notable rulers included Heinrich LXVII (ruled from 1854 to 1867) and Heinrich XIV (ruled from 1867 to 1913), who also ruled the Reuss Older Line from 1902 to 1908.

The coinage of the Reuss Younger Line reflected political and economic conditions. After 1840, coins were minted in Berlin. Notable coins include the gold coins of 10 Mark and 20 Mark, minted in 1882 and 1881, respectively.
